Math Challenge: This teacher poses a math challenge to his students and then provides videos solving the problem. This one is very straightforward but the walk through is really great and easy to understand. This would be a great videos for students to view should you want to use a similar problems in your classroom.

Tiny Tap: This app and website provides interactive presentations and activities for students at all levels in a wide range of topics. Users can search for pre-made material or create their own. Teachers can also create digital classrooms where they can assign activities and track student data. (iOS, Android, Website)

BrainPOP: This app and website provides short, animated videos in all subject areas as well as educational games. Each video comes with comprehension questions students can try to test their knowledge. Separate BrainPOP apps are available for students in grades K-3 and for ESL students. myBlee Math: This app provides modules where students can review and strengthen their math skills. Modules are leveled so students can work through modules at their grade level. Modules are available for sixth grade. (iOS)

Brainfeed: This app provides a collection of videos in all subjects that can be used to enhance instruction. (iOS)

CK-12 – Website: This free website provides lessons, information, and interactive tools for learning various subjects. Most of the lessons focus on science and math, but English, history, and other subject areas are being added. (This item has been reviewed! Click here to learn more!)

OpenEd: A collection of videos, games, assessments, lesson plans, and more that are aligned with Common Core Standards and the PARCC assessment. This site has an accompanying app called “Common Core Quest” available for free (iOS, Google Play ((Android)), and Chrome Web Store). This site covers curriculum for grades K-12.
